Level 4 Passes 8/11/11

Congratulations to the latest group of candidates to have attained their Level 4 award.  Upon inspection, the representative from the NCFE said that the session planners and the schemes of work were of a standard so high as to be not often seen anywhere else.  Well done to you all.  We knew you were the best!

Congratulations to the latest candidates who have passed their Level 2 and to those who have passed their Level 4.  Your skills and knowledge do you proud.  Well done one and all.
 
Congratulations to Wayfarer's Course 1/11/11

Congratulations to all those who attended the Wayfarer's Course last week.  Truly outrageous weather to start with, but you all coped extremely well with gales and driving wind to come out of the woods on Friday with flying colours.  Well done!
 
2011 Wayfarer's Course 17/10/11

Just a few days left until the Wayfarer's Course.  We're really looking forward to seeing everyone.  When it comes to Bushcraft and Survival Courses, this is not only one of the tough ones, but also hugely rewarding.  Hope you all have a blast.

Congratulations to the winner of the Pepsi Max challenge.  We look forward to meeting you and your two friends on the course in May.
 
Working withe Virgin 29/9/10

Survival School is looking forward to continuing its close associate with Virgin and to working closely with them over the Christmas period.
 
Outdoor Trade Show 28/9/10

We spent yesterday at the outdoor trade show.  It was great to see so many old friends and meet people that we first met 13 years ago.  There was so much exciting kit that we were like kids in a sweet shop.  Stand by for some new additions to the Survival School shop.
 
Great Food Magazine 26/9/11

Look out for us in the Great Food Magazine.  We spent Saturday rustling up a meal fit for a king with various foods we found in the woods.   and horse radish in a pear and apple sauce.

Autumn in the National Forest 26/9/11

Autumn has reached the National Forest.  It is absolutely stunning at the moment.  The red, picks, oranges and yellows with the lingering greens.  This is Jonny's favourite time of year.
