USUALLY SHIPPED NEXT DAY.The Japanese Water Slip Stone is made from the same stone as the larger waterstone above. It is ideal for taking out into the wilderness with you as it is so small and light. Just soak in water for one minute and keep lubricated with sprinkles of water whilst using. It is designed to put the edge back on your knife, axe, carving tool etc so that it is sharp enough to shave with. These are the ideal accompaniment to any knife or axe and are highly rated by survival instructors all over the world.
The Slip Stones are teardrop shaped when seen end on so they are ideal sharpening most cutting tools, even if they are not the traditional shape of blade.
