One Day Courses

One day courses are designed to give you in depth knowledge of a particular subject or subjects.

The Foraging and Fire Lighting Course covers Edible, Medicinal and Poisionous plants as well as tree identification and uses. You will be taken round the woods and fields and collect your food. You'll never look at the woods and fields in the same way again. The course includes Fire Lighting by Friction.

The Tracking, Traps and Snares Course and Game Preparation isn't just about how to make the traps and snares, it also covers animal tracking and behaviour. You then get a chance to prepare your own rabbit, trout and pigeon to take home. This is a fascinating course that is also very practical and great fun.

We offer a combination of subjects on the one day courses. It is likely that courses will be made up from the most popular aspects of the demonstrations but we can make alterations to the courses to suit your needs.
