"Firstly thankyou, what a superb day on Saturday tramping around typically stunning British woodland in even more typically British weather. Richard, Roger and I (Steve) are still struggling to recall as much of the exceptional amount of detail and insight that you imparted as we can. Infact your website presents the line "you'll never look at woodland in the same way again"... which I considered a little cheesy prior to Saturday, but that is the epitome of what you deliver. Your own genuine passion for your subject was immediately apparent and you maintained a great sense of humour throughout the day, aswell as instilling a healthy dose of respect for our native woodlands. To be honest the abissmal weather added to the elation and satisfaction of getting a spark and getting a fire going. I think I speak for us both when I say that it really was great to experience this together and learn so much in so little time (obviously a faction of what there is to learn - but we will now experience the outdoors with enough curiosity to want to learn more). Finally, we both really appreciated the help, support and enthusiasm of your whole team. In our profession, we attend all sorts of professional courses with lecturers some of whom are very good teaching and others who are not!
