The Aim of this course is to teach you how to successfully catch animals using traps and snares. On this course you will learn how to legally set traps and snares both ancient and contemporary. You will examine the legalities, rules and governance within the UK and importantly best practise and animal well-being.
You will also cover the act of acquisition (setting traps and snares), the manufacture of those traps and snares using natural materials sourced locally, how to set and monitor them and how to use by-products of the traps and snares.
This is a hands on course. The instructors will explain and demonstrate but you will get the opportunity to have a go at everything!
