The NCFE has approved Survival School as a centre to run the Bushcraft, Survival and Wilderness Living Skills course, which has been accredited as Level 2. This course is a weekend course run in either Devon or Staffordshire.
This is the follow up assessment of the training you will have already received on your Level 2 Bushcraft Course. It is run immediately following your training course, saving you travel costs and freeing up a weekend when you could do one of our Level 3 courses.

If you are booking the bolt on assessment then it will take place immediately after your Level 2 Training Course and will last around 2 hours.
- Course: Level 2 Bushcraft, Survival and Wilderness Living Skills Assessment. Accredited by the NCFE (CQ11765)
- Venue: Devon (Near Exeter - EX11 1LU) and Staffordshire (Near Burton upon Trent - DE13 9RS).
- Times: 12pm -2pm on the Sunday of your training course.
- Ages: All ages above 14 years welcome. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
- Certificates: From 1st August 2022, all certifications will be in the form of eCertificates.

- Cutting Tool Safety
- Game Preparation (mammal, fish and fowl)
- Damper Bread
- Cutting Techniques
- Shelter Building
- Fire Lighting (including friction fire lighting)
- Water Preparation
- Natural Cordage
- Knife Sharpening
- Knife Law
- Foraging (edible, medicinal and poisonous plants, tree identification and tree uses)
