Do you want to become a Level 4 Accredited and Qualified Bushcraft, Survival and Wilderness Living Skills Instructor and Mentor? A Level 4 instructor is someone who is skilled enough, knowledgeable enough and technically proficient enough to run a course unsupervised whilst having the ability to research subjects, write lesson plans and deliver lessons to a high standard. You would be accredited and qualified by the NCFE who is the awarding body.

Survival School wants to ensure the future of an outdoor industry that needs investment in the next generation of instructors. Most instructors around the country are over 40 years old and so by developing young talent, you will know that Bushcraft, Survival and Wilderness Living skills are in safe hands.
Survival School Ltd would like to offer two Instructors scholarships per year to the best candidate aged 18 to 24. The scholarship will cover the qualification fees for:
- Level 2 training and assessment
- 4 x Level 3 weekend qualifications
- Applied Level 3 qualification
- Level 4 Instructors and Mentors Qualification
You will also get get the opportunity to work for Survival School for 8 weeks to gain experience and cement the knowledge and skills gained.
The closing date for your application for the 2020 Scholarships is: 30 November 2019.

* The Level 4 training will progress in November 2020 and March, April, May and June 2021. The Applied Level 3 Qualification is a week long course, but the rest are weekends, starting at 7pm on a Friday and finishing at 12pm on the Sunday.
8 weekends of experience will be provided following June 2021.

Packed lunch and flask/drink
If you have any equipment that you think may be suitable then please feel free to bring that along too, although no further kit is essential.
