This knife comes as Survival School Recommended.  The Companion Heavy Duty has a three-layer injection molding and has a sharpening bevel of 27 degrees.

The knife has an extra large ergonomic handle with a soft high friction grip.  The knife blade is 3.2mm thick carbon steel with a high load capacity.  the classic scandi grind combined with quality carbon steel makes the knife easy to re-sharpen.
